After struggling to find work, R takes on a seemingly straightforward data collection job: infiltrate a secure facility, duplicate all information from their computers, upload to the buyer, and escape. But when the escape goes wrong, R is captured by an unknown figure.He wakes in a dark room, restrained in a decrepit chair. A shadowy silhouette—resembling a doctor—approaches with medical equipment. Pain erupts from R as a scalpel cuts into his eyes, sharp stinging sensations overwhelming him. Time distorts, stretching into an eternity of agony until, on the verge of death, he “awakens”.Days later and now abandoned, he finds himself in an empty unknown environment. He stumbles to a mirror—his once-green eyes now a deep, unnatural red. As he stares, a shadow swells behind him, consuming the room's light. From the darkness, massive eyes blink open on the wall to then close. A mist-like fog rises, twisting into the shape of a small black crow.Terrified yet drawn to the creature, R soon realizes it is no ordinary bird—coming to the understanding that it's his corporeal form of his own ID, a physical soul that's bound to him. With no choice but to move forward, R and the crow, Riri, form an unlikely bond as they search for the truth behind his transformation.
